James (“Just Jaymes”) McClam
Jaymes was born in Chicago, Illinois into a family known worldwide for its
entertainment personalities. Jaymes takes an entirely different approach to
his artwork and music. By intergrading concepts from his musical experiences,
he creates a fresh touch to his songs and artistic productions. In addition
to writing and producing music in various genres, his digital art technique
and production skills show a new face to the Next Generation Artist. “Just
Jaymes” began his artistic and musical career at age 10, when his father
introduced him to the classical guitar. He attended Southern Illinois University.
During the evening hours at SIU, Jaymes would play the harmonica at the local
blues clubs. At SIU, Jaymes studied Computer Science, and today he uses his
computer skills to digitally enhance his artwork.
